Published in August 2017 this 36pp glossy magazine was the official document for the PNG International Business Summit 2017 held in Brisbane, Australia.
Apart from being a concise guide to the event, the magazine carried a feature story by Glenn Armstrong called Future Thinking – looking at finance and investment, smart technology, sport and sustainability in the context of urban and national development.
The Kumul Review
July 2016
Published in July 2016 and inserted in the daily newspapers as a 16pp glossy magazine, the fourth edition of the bi-annual The KCH Review covered the official launch of the Ramu 2 Hydropower Project with half-year SOE highlights; the change of ministers for SOEs; story on ‘green’ energy in PNG; the Karimui Hydro Dam Project; agriculture projects; and an update on the Port Moresby Sewerage System Upgrade Project.
The Kumul Review
December 2015
Published in December 2015 and inserted in the daily newspapers as a 16pp glossy magazine, the third edition of the bi-annual review carried a new masthead to reflect the name change from IPBC (Independent Public Business Corporation) to KCH (Kumul Consolidated Holdings).
The KCH Review covered the official opening of the new Motukea port facilities in Port Moresby, with half-year SOE highlights; an interview with KCH Chairman, Paul Nerau; concepts for Lakatoi City in the nation’s capital; and a story on risk management.
The IPBC Review
July 2015
Published in July 2015 and inserted in the daily newspapers as a 16pp glossy magazine, the second edition of the bi-annual IPBC Review covered the launch of the new Lae Port facilities with half-year SOE highlights; a look at the Kumul Agenda; the Port Moresby Sewerage System Upgrade Project; and the Ramu 2 hydropower project.
The IPBC Review
December 2014
Published in December 2014 and inserted in the daily newspapers as a 16pp glossy magazine, the first edition of the IPBC Review looked at the milestones of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in Papua New Guinea during the second half of 2014.
It also had a feature story on the signing of the Charter of Good Governance; a look at the involvement of SOEs in promoting sports in PNG; and a feature story covering the development of sea ports in Papua New Guinea.
Air Niugini: Destinations
Special Launch Magazine
Published in April 2010 to promote the launch of Air Niugini’s home-grown loyalty program, the 16pp glossy magazine was inserted in the daily newspapers in Papua New Guinea, reaching an audience in excess of 100,000 people.
Glenn Armstrong was responsible for designing the marketing collateral for the loyalty program, writing the terms and conditions and establishing the name and trademark.
Today, Air Niugini’s Destinations Loyalty Program continues to grow significantly, with 120,000 members as of 2023, having reached the milestone of 100,000 members in March 2018.
