Ricky Mitio will launch his autobiography Ovu ga’hoe this Thursday night (May 8) at a special dinner function at Lamana Hotel, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
Prominent PNG academic Motsy David has been announced as the special guest MC, while acclaimed PNG musician Pius Wasi will perform at the launch.
Other special guests on the night include Tiri Kuimbakul, who wrote the Foreword for Ricky’s book; Sue Hurrell, daughter of the legendary Lloyd Hurrell, who was an inspiration to Ricky Mitio as he found his footing in the PNG coffee industry; and Glenn Armstrong, editor and publisher of Ricky’s book.
The special dinner function will also be attended by representatives of the sponsors of Ricky’s book: Coffee Industry Corporation, Women’s Micro Bank (Mama Bank), Farmset, and KKB (Kainantu) Ltd.
All guests attending the dinner will receive a copy of Ricky Mitio’s book and a special commemorative gift bag. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet Ricky Mitio for a personal book signing.
